Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Brass / Woodwinds Instructor to inspire students through comprehensive teaching of brass and woodwind instruments. While individual lessons are the essence of Real School, you'll also have the opportunity to lead students in Ensembles where they play with peers and Showcases where students perform what they've learned for family. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in musical performance and arts education, with a focus on creative arts instruction and youth engagement. Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons on brass / woodwind instruments Develop customized curricula that incorporate technical skill development, music theory, and performance techniques. Manage the lesson environment to foster positive behavior, motivation, and active participation among students. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (preferably in music) or life-experience teaching. 1+ years professional teaching experience with beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Ablility to work with all ages. Flexibility in working with different music and learning styles as well as all age groups Are you a multi-instrumentalist? Playing and teaching multiple instruments is a plus! Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You reply to requests and communication in a timely manner. You're ready to dive in, be a part of the team, and go the extra mile. You have experience with live performance. You're eager to participate in faculty showcases, external events, and student concerts and recitals You can reliably commute to Andover MA. You are eligible to work in the United States (we do not sponsor Visa applicants).
