Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Band and Chorus Teacher 2026-2027 Cardinal Spellman High School, a co-educational Catholic High School (grades 9-12) in Brockton, MA, has been developing and growing the music program, and we are seeking a dynamic Band and Chorus Teacher to bring our rapidly growing program to the next level. We have a performance-based Music Program, consisting of a band, concert choir, chamber choir, jazz band, and liturgical choir. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Continue to develop and direct school Choral Ensembles and Band Ensembles Teach Music Course offerings including: Teach/Direct Band Ensemble and Choir Teach/Direct Jazz Band Teach/Direct Honors Chamber Choir Collaborate with Piano and Guitar Teacher The ideal candidate will have strong keyboard/accompaniment skills and a knowledge of the Catholic Faith and liturgical practices. Additional Information - Band and Chorus Teacher will be responsible for these tasks: Inform and advise the building administrators of relevant matters concerning curriculum, instruction and professional development pertaining to the Music Program. Oversee the coordination of the Music Programs of Study. Prepare and monitor the Music Program yearly budget.

Job Requirements:
Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor's requred from an accredited college or university Experience as a music teacher, preferably at the secondary school levels. Background in Music curriculum and instruction What you can expect at
