Job description Early Childhood Music Teacher (Ages 2-6) - Part-Time Love music? Love toddlers? Join one of the area's most exciting music schools. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging Early Childhood Music Teacher to lead our popular Music classes for children ages 2-3 and their caregivers. We're looking for someone who can walk into a room with energy, make children feel comfortable, and create a fun, interactive musical experience through singing, movement, rhythm activities, and imaginative play. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in early childhood education, preschool, music education, daycare, children's enrichment programs, or performing arts who enjoys making a meaningful impact during a child's earliest years. Responsibilities Lead engaging 40-minute music and movement classes for toddlers and their caregivers. Create a fun, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment. Teach songs, rhythm activities, movement games, and age-appropriate musical concepts. Encourage participation while adapting to different personalities and developmental stages. Build positive relationships with families. Arrive prepared, organized, and on time for every class. Help create memorable first musical experiences for young children. Qualifications Preferred Experience teaching or working with children ages 2-5. Background in music, music education, early childhood education, theater, dance, or a related field. Comfortable singing in front of groups. Confident leading both children and adults in an interactive setting. Required Warm, energetic, and patient personality. Excellent communication skills. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Dependable attendance and professional demeanor. Schedule Part-time Weekday mornings and/or afternoons Additional teaching opportunities based on experience Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
