Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band Drill/Colorguard Instructor
Job Summary:
Color guard Drill for the Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band program for Grades 9-12 will provide Dance Instruction for students with additional opportunities to develop their Dance and Movement skills.
Essential Duties Prepare and teach color guard routines and marching drill design
Develop Dance Technique Program
Attends all competitions (approximately 4) and home football games as needed by the Marching Band Director
Attends all rehearsals during the course of the fall season
Attends Band Camp
Teaches and dance and movement to the Color guard section of the marching band
Requirements
2+ years experience teaching dance technique for marching band Shows
Ability to stay organized in order to plan events, and assist the Crimson Tide Marching Band Director in all aspects of Running the Dance Movement Section of the Band
Knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy as well as modern dance techniques.
