Founded in 2014, Maestro Musicians Academy serves families in the Lexington and Sharon communities through high-quality private music instruction. We specialize in working with children and teens, helping them develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. While our immediate staffing needs may vary throughout the year, we regularly welcome new students and believe in building relationships with outstanding teachers before the need becomes urgent. Current Areas of Interest We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers of: Piano Voice Guitar Violin What We Offer W-2 employee position Competitive compensation ($37.5•43 per hour based on experience and instrument) Paid sick time (1 hour accrued for every 30 hours worked) Flexible scheduling Student recruitment and marketing Scheduling and billing support Administrative support Curriculum guidance and support Professional teaching environment Recital and performance opportunities Long-term growth opportunities within an established school community Teaching Schedule Most lessons take place during the following hours:
Weekdays:
3:00 PM•8:00
PM Saturdays:
9:00 AM•2:00 PM Applicants should be available for at least one consistent teaching day per week (minimum four hours of availability). Responsibilities Teach weekly private lessons to children and teens Build positive, long-term relationships with students and families Communicate student progress with parents Maintain a consistent teaching schedule Prepare students for performances and recitals Keep brief lesson notes and attendance records Qualifications Experience teaching private music lessons to children is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and professional Bachelor's degree in Music preferred, but not required Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative teaching environment Genuine enthusiasm for helping students grow musically and personally About Maestro Musicians Academy At Maestro Musicians Academy, we believe music education is about much more than learning notes and rhythms.
