Starline Academy for the Performing Arts Stoughton, MA Job Details Part-time | Contract $30 - $49 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Teaching visual & performing arts Behavior management Curriculum development Early childhood education Classroom experience Full Job Description Overview We are excited to invite passionate and energetic instructors to join our dynamic team. We are expanding and looking to hire Dance, Acting, Piano and Vocal teachers for our next season. Availablity varies pending your styles and abilities. Dance genres include a variety of preschool level classes then ballet, tap, jazz and/or hip hop for elementary through high school students. Looking for an experienced piano teacher with a background in classical training up to three days a week. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire students of all ages by fostering their artistic talents and helping them develop confidence through engaging lessons. Whether you specialize in ballet, theater, vocal training, or piano, your expertise will contribute to creating a vibrant learning environment that encourages creativity, growth, and self-expression. This position offers a rewarding chance to make a lasting impact on students' lives while sharing your love for the arts. Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in dance, piano, acting, or voice that align with curriculum standards and individual student goals Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate techniques such as ballet, theater arts, vocal training, or musical proficiency Manage classroom environments effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and fostering a positive atmosphere Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement and celebrate achievements Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student development milestones Choroegraph, stage and or prepare students for end of season showcases/concerts. Skills Strong background in curriculum development tailored to your specific concentration. Excellent classroom management skills to create a safe and encouraging learning environment Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with behavior management strategies and special education needs to support inclusive learning experiences Join us in shaping the next generation of performers and artists!
