Job Description
Camp Director:
Plan, facilitate and execute the daily activities of the camp and manage the progression of each student. This includes overseeing and also running a rehearsal room and providing individual instruction when needed. Keep daily progress reports for students Execute the camp theme of the week by managing the students both on and off the stage. Create an inclusive environment and manage student behavior. Directors should immediately report any major issues to school management. Help get new students excited about joining a core program at School of Rock. Skill Requirements 2 + years experience teaching and/or working in a camp setting. Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers and other people Strong organizational skills Very strong customer relations skills Resourceful and good problem-solver Works well with others Ideal candidate is a working musician (actively gigging, recording, or playing in a band) College level music training/education helpful Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor Good judgment a must Availability to work summer camps for the full week (Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm). Camps are held the week of June 22nd through the week of August 17th.
