Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated strings teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with kids and students of a variety of ages and abilities, extensive performing abilities on their instrument and ability to effectively communicate and teach.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for ages 4 through adult
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide individualized instruction to students based on their abilities
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience performing on the violin, viola, or cello. Proficiency in playing the piano is a plus, as well as secondary skills on violin, viola, or cello (apart from your primary instrument). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of all ages. Passion for music education and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students.
