Our mission is to support each learner's growth through a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring they thrive at their own pace. Summary We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our team in Belleville, NJ. This role is vital in enriching the educational experience of our students aged five to twenty-one, fostering their love for music while supporting their individual developmental needs. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging music curriculum tailored to the needs of students. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity. Conduct music lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary. Organize music-related events and performances to showcase student talents. Provide feedback to students and families on progress and areas for improvement. Maintain a safe and organized classroom space. The teacher will provide music instruction to students with disabilities that will follow the NJDOE;NJSLA standards for the State of New Jersey. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Education or higher in a related field required. DOE provisional or standard teaching certificate. Experience required. Proven experience in teaching music, preferably in a special education setting. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learners. Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Passion for fostering a love of music in students.
