We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented Upper School Choir Director and Middle School General Music Teacher to join our community one day per week. The ideal candidate will be a born again believer who lives according to the Word of God, serves in his/her local evangelical church, is in agreement with our statement of faith, and is capable of creating a choral and classroom learning environment that is exciting and engaging for students. Preference will be given to an innovative Christian choral teacher who is committed to working hard and helping to point our students to Christ in word and deed.
Responsibilities:
Direct three choirs and three middle school general music classes one day per week
  • approx.
one hour each Prepare choral students to participate in Christmas and spring concerts Prepare choirs for Cairn University Choral Festival annually and accompany them to competition Prepare students to sing at other functions throughout the year Manage choral program details Teach general music to students in grades 6-8 Demonstrate and model Christian values and worldview to students at all times.
