Role:
Join the Albuquerque Institute of Music as a Voice Teacher and inspire the next generation of musicians! We are looking for passionate educators who can create engaging lessons and foster a love for music in students of all ages.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized lesson plans for flute and woodwind students. Conduct private lessons to develop students' technical skills and musicality. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance. Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and music competitions. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to diverse learning styles. Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment. Collaborate with other music instructors to enhance curriculum offerings. Engage with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred. Proven experience teaching flute and woodwinds to students of varying skill levels. Strong understanding of music theory and pedagogical techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students in a creative environment. Patience and adaptability in teaching methods. Willingness to participate in school events and community outreach. Background check required for all teaching staff. Why Teach at AIM?
