  • $65,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Teaching music English Mid-level Student support Teaching Music composition Full Job Description Theory and Analysis of Contemporary Music Study Abroad Course in Paris is a four-week, three-credit graduate-level course on contemporary music, open to performers, composers, theorists, and other music scholars.
Will teach students in English for the first two weeks of the course, and then support students in the ManiFeste Festival Academy for the final two weeks. Academy events include concerts, lectures, masterclasses for composers and performers, open rehearsals, and films. Knowledgeable about post-tonal music theory and cover topics including spectralism, electroacoustic music, microtonality, computer-aided composition, transformational theory, and timbre-based music.
