Music Teacher (Instrumental) - Band West Seneca Central School District - 4.3 West Seneca, NY Job Details Full-time $47,368 - $53,944 a year 4 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Educational material preparation Student engagement classroom management Full Job Description The West Seneca Central School District is seeking a full-time Music teacher to provide instrumental (band), small group lesson instruction for students at both the elementary and secondary levels. This traveling position is also responsible for teaching our high school music history course. This is a probationary appointment with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association's collective bargaining agreement and commensurate with experience.

Job Qualifications Required Certification:
Music (Pre K-12)
Experience and Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of teaching music in a differentiated format Ability to demonstrate and perform on primary and secondary instrument(s) Experience with a variety of classroom management skills and behavior intervention programs Knowledge of program modifications, testing accommodations and supplementary aides Strong computer and communication skills Ability to collaborate and work with other members of the department Ability to demonstrate and perform with proper vocal technique Instrumental (Band) conducting experience preferred Specialized Training Working With Disabled/Medically Fragile Children Technology Literacy Google Docs Google Apps for
