Since 1912, The Music Settlement (TMS) has been open to everyone wanting to learn, create, celebrate, and heal with music. Through our three centers—Center for Music (CFM), Center for Early Childhood (CEC), and Center for Music Therapy (CMT)—and Bop Stop performance venue, we provide accessible, life-enhancing music and arts experiences to people of all ages and abilities. We deliver music and arts programming that reflects the diverse needs of Greater Cleveland and serve more than 9,000 members of our community each year.Position Title:

Instruction begins August 31, 2026Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality music instruction to students of all ages and skill levels Customize teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles and goals Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, administrative staff, and colleagues Participate in faculty meetings, student recitals, and occasional community engagement activities Maintain accurate student attendance records and uphold administrative expectations of TMS concerning student scheduling and billing procedures Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment in accordance with The Music Settlement's policies and instructional values Maintain on-site availability for afternoon and evening hoursEducational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in music or related field required; Master's or equivalent professional experience preferred.Qualifications:
At least one year of previous teaching experience required; previous teaching experience in a community music school setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skillsCompensation:
$40.00-$46.66 per hour for individual instruction determined by education and experience.Application Deadline:
