Job Description
Meridee Winters School of Music is seeking skilled and reliable musicians to join our teaching faculty. This position involves providing in-home music instruction to students of all ages throughout the Main Line area. Teaching experience is welcome but not required, as we provide comprehensive training. Whether your primary instrument is guitar, violin, piano, voice, or another discipline, we welcome versatile musicians who believe in the educational and developmental value of music. About Meridee Winters School of Music Founded in 1990, Meridee Winters School of Music has delivered innovative, personalized in-home music education to thousands of Main Line families. Our teaching philosophy blends strong technical foundations with creativity, play-based learning, improvisation, songwriting, and student-centered instruction. Teachers are supported with an extensive library of over 600 proprietary Meridee Winters Music Method materials, including lesson books, games, creative projects, improvisation tools, and songwriting resources. These materials are designed to keep students engaged, motivated, and (dare we say it?) actually excited to practice. Our Community Meridee Winters is home to a vibrant, collaborative teaching community. Faculty members are supported by experienced administrative staff and encouraged to connect, share ideas, and grow as musicians and educators.
