Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Vocal/Piano instructor to inspire students through the power of music and performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with learners of all ages, fostering their musical talents and creative expression. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you will play a vital role in developing their musical journey while promoting confidence and artistic excellence. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' skill levels in vocal and piano performance. Conduct individual classes focusing on technique, musicality, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance skills. Incorporate curriculum development strategies to enhance learning experiences across various age groups and skill levels. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive, respectful environment conducive to creative growth. Prepare students for recitals, performances, or examinations by guiding practice routines and stage presence. Skills Proven experience working with children and youth programs teaching music or performing arts. Strong background in teaching visual & performing arts, including vocal training and piano instruction. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Proficiency with musical instruments (piano) and vocal techniques for diverse learners. Experience teaching instrumental performance, singing techniques, or early childhood education is highly desirable. Ability to foster a supportive environment for students with special needs or in special education settings. Pay:
$22.50 - $25.00 per hour
