The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, particularly in piano instruction, and a genuine love for teaching students of all ages, especially beginners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans and fostering a warm learning environment balanced with helping students develop their musical skills. Must be able to commute to Murfreesboro, TN. This is a new area for our school that currently operates in Nashville and Williamson Co. Monday-Friday Availability 3pm-7pm preferred. Homeschool hours are often requested. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator. He or she must "close sales" with perspective clients in a timely manner and communicate regularly with the studio owner. Responsibilities Drive to students' homes for lessons. A reliable vehicle is required. Communicate well and timely with parents the expectations and coordinate scheduling. Communicate in a timely manner to the studio owner. Develop and implement sequential lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level and learning style. Teach fundamental piano techniques, music theory, and sight-reading skills. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student growth and confidence. Prepare students for recitals and showcases. Participate in continued education to learn new teaching methods, curriculum development, and advancements in music education. Experience Candidates should possess some or all of the following qualifications: Proven experience in teaching piano or music education is preferred. A degree in music is desired, but not required. Skills in curriculum development to create effective lesson plans. A desire to teach piano. We encourage any qualified or interested teacher to reach out.
