Job Description

About Us Join a thriving community of local musicians! The Cadenza Company School of Music is expanding, and we are seeking talented, dedicated educators to join our growing team. We handle all the business logistics—marketing, scheduling, student billing, and admin—so you can focus entirely on what you do best: inspiring students and teaching music. Open Positions We are currently hiring for private instructors in the following areas, though multi-instrumentalists are highly encouraged to apply: Piano Voice Guitar Drums / Percussion We are also expanding our group class programming at our main studio, the Tony Shotwell Center, and Epic Rec. Group offerings span all age groups and include programs like:
Early Childhood:
Baby Music, Little Mozarts, Music Adventurers Youth & Teens:
Kids Choir, Kids Pop Rock Band Candidate Requirements Musical Proficiency:
Strong technical skills and mastery of your chosen instrument(s).
Great Communication:
Ability to break down music theory and technique for students of various ages and skill levels.
Professionalism:
Punctual, organized, dependable, and communicative.
Positive Energy:
An engaging, encouraging attitude that fosters student growth.
Background:
Prior teaching or professional performance experience is preferred.
Logistics:
Must have reliable personal transportation for in-person studio sessions. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver customized lesson plans tailored to individual student goals. Maintain an encouraging, safe, and productive classroom or studio environment. Track student progression and offer constructive, motivating feedback. Connect with parents periodically to highlight student development and achievements. Help organize and participate in school recitals and student showcases.
