We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys inspiring students of all ages and skill levels while helping them develop strong musical skills, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Our goal is to provide a supportive and professional learning environment where students can grow through high-quality instruction and positive musical experiences. Responsibilities Provide engaging private violin lessons for children, teens, and adults Create customized lesson plans based on each student's goals, experience level, and learning style Teach proper violin technique, including posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical expression Incorporate music theory, ear training, repertoire development, and performance skills into lessons Motivate students to build strong practice habits and achieve their musical goals Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, and other performance opportunities Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback Communicate professionally with students and families regarding progress and expectations Collaborate with other instructors and participate in school events and performances Qualifications Strong background in violin performance and music education Previous teaching experience with children, teens, or adults preferred Music degree or current enrollment in a music program preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered Ability to teach beginner through advanced students Knowledge of different teaching methods and ability to adapt to individual learning styles Patient, encouraging, reliable, and passionate about helping students succeed Excellent communication and organizational skills Schedule & Position Details Part-time teaching position Flexible schedule Afternoon and evening availability preferred Supportive and professional teaching environment Opportunities to grow with an expanding music school Join the Institute of Musical Arts and become part of a passionate team dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians through creativity, excellence, and the joy of music.
