Job Description
We are seeking degreed and/or professional musicians to join our staff who teach one or more of the following instruments: piano, guitar, voice, drums, and/or strings, for our students in the
SUGAR LAND/MISSOURI CITY
area, as well as the surrounding suburbs. Teach In-Home, Private Music Lessons with a school RUN locally by experienced Houston Music Educators, who aim to make this the best teaching gig you've ever had. Lessons In Your Home (LIYH) serves both music teachers and students by curating successful, long-term teaching relationships. At LIYH, we teach Traditional Music Lessons (i.e.- we use music notation) through positive reinforcement and goal-oriented lessons. - Have a degree in Music and/or have educational or professional music experience
- Have a reliable vehicle to travel to and from lessons
- Teach in our students' homes at a consistent weekly day and time
- Be permitted to work in the US (no visas, or sponsorship)
- Be ready to commit at least 1 year to new students, but hopefully longer!
- Be fluent, comfortable, able to teach in English Teaching Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' varying skill levels in piano.

What is your primary instrument, and are you fluent with reading music notation (i.e. reading on the staff)?- Which days/times are you available to teach within the following: weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 3-9pm and/or on weekends anytime?
