Job Description

Drum & Strum Music Academy in Old Town Warrenton is now accepting applications for a violin instructor to give private music lessons and join our winning team of instructors. The ability to teach multiple stringed instruments, particularly viola and cello, is highly desirable. Applicants must be professional, friendly, dependable, dedicated, motivated, trustworthy, have a positive attitude, like cats, and work well with others. A music degree and/or teaching experience is preferred. Please email a resume for more information and to arrange an interview. Drum & Strum offers private music lessons with many of the area's top music instructors, a large selection of quality brand-name instruments, repair services, instrument rentals, smiling faces, honest answers, and always good advice. A trusted institution within the Warrenton community, Drum & Strum has provided a myriad of students, musicians, and listeners with the joy of music for the last 36 years.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome students to provide a superior learning experience. Identify students' goals and develop an appropriate learning curriculum. Work with front staff to increase student retention and grow your student base. Teach weekly lessons on a regularly recurring schedule.
