Job Description

About us The Pipsqueak Piano Company is a small business started in Redmond, WA. We are innovative, creative, supportive and our goal is to provide accessible piano education to preschoolers everywhere. Seeking responsible and friendly individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience working with children, enjoys creativity with games and activities, and can work independently. Candidates will need to provide DCYF state fingerprinting. Currently hiring in Kirkland for a full studio of students, 3 mornings per week: Tuesday 9 am
  • 11:30, Wednesday 10 am
  • noon, and Thursday from 9am
  • 11:30 Pipsqueak Piano instructors teach at a partnered daycare or early learning center, providing 15-minute private piano lessons and 30-minute group piano classes for enrolled preschoolers.
All books and instruments are provided by Pipsqueak Piano. Teachers track student progress, capture brief lesson videos, and maintain weekly communication with parents, including lesson updates and practice assignments. Instructors also lead a 1-hour weekly general music class for all students at the daycare. This is a broad early childhood music program covering singing, rhythm, movement, listening, instruments, and musical exploration. A basic curriculum is provided, but we encourage teachers to bring their own creativity, ideas, and personality into the classroom. Each daycare is assigned one dedicated teacher, and each teacher works with only one daycare, allowing you to build a unique program, form lasting relationships with families, and create a natural pathway into your own private studio as students graduate preschool. If this sounds like the job for you, we'd love to hear from you!
