The primary job duties will be to deliver instruction, assess students' learning, provide spiritual guidance, facilitate classroom management, and engage in ongoing professional development activities. Sincere care and concern for students' well-being and academic progress are of primary importance in order to effectively minister to students in this position. You will be joining a team of excellent educators who are passionate about their subject matter, MCA's mission, and serving students/families. https://www.mcak12.com/ Salary While the compensation for this position depends on the candidate's degree, experience, and qualifications, the approximate wage range is $20 to $25 per hour. Benefits & Perks Summer Break June 15 - August 15 Monday -Thursday in person, Friday is an open prep day for next week from home Paid federal holidays and breaks Paid Time Off (Sick Days/Personal) Paid professional development 80% off student tuition for full-time employees, prorated for PT Stipend for FT of $150/month totaling $1,800/year Job Responsibilities Manage and educate students in a nurturing classroom environment Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that integrate biblical teachings and character development Assess student progress through various methods such as assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects Establish rules and expectations, maintain order, and address behavioral issues Maintain cordial relationships with students within appropriate boundaries Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, peers, and supervisors Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in education Teacher's State Certification, preferred not required Previous experience in teaching Technical skills and computer knowledge Ability to build rapport with students and parents Excellent written and verbal communication skills Dependability and strong work ethic Understand and be able to explain the Christian philosophy or Biblical basis for education To learn more, please submit your resume and cover letter.
