Job Description

Seeking amazing teachers for our team to start up this new satellite location in VIOLIN, PIANO, and VOICE. To be qualified you must know all fundamentals (scales, chords, and theory). You
MUST BE ABLE TO READ MUSIC
at an extremely high level and be able to read well and be committed to teaching students the same. If you can't read music on your instrument, don't call us, don't email us, unless you are signing up for lessons. We take this very seriously. You need to believe in the importance of these things and be able to demonstrate proficiency (and hopefully mastery) of them! If you CAN"T

at an extremely high level _ don't know your stuff, please don't waste our time. We don't mess around when it comes to music! Many people can't pass our audition. Are you good enough? _ We are a community-based music school that is a sister school of The Tuned In Academy, combined, we serve over 500 students. We are building a team of great people serious about music and music education, including the fundamentals! Our team serves mostly on the weekends, though we also have some weekday morning and evening opportunities as well, so this is a great opportunity for those with a day job or another part time-work but can definitely become a primary work if you work hard want to teach M-Friday for most of the day to mid-evening. Are you a great musician, looking for a great opportunity? We're looking for musicians that understand that one of the most important things for them as a musician, for the world, and the future of music, is that you are a part of the mission to pass on their knowledge and to inspire others to do great things with music. We are looking for musicians that understand that teaching music is (and should be) highly relational and want to develop those relations. We are looking for musicians that want to grow as a musician; and teaching is a guaranteed path to growth if you care about your students and their needs and their growth! Not to mention, what really could be a better job than being a part of a team of great people doing important work in the community that pays well (including five weeks of paid time off a year), and you get to choose their own schedule?!! If you don't have teaching experience but you care about music and people, and you know your stuff, we can train you in the art of teaching. You must be a hard worker, desire to teach and grow in your craft as well as in helping others grow, be on the ball and responsive, and understanding of our community and how we operate.) Voice teachers must be able to accompany their students on piano or guitar at a competent level.
