  • Oak Creek & Franklin, WI Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Growth Opportunity About Us At the Academy of Performing Arts, we're focused on one thing: helping kids grow through music.
Our mission is to build happy, confident students in a positive, structured environment where they can develop real skills and enjoy the process. We have an established student base and are continuing to grow our music program.
Open Positions We are hiring:
Piano Teacher (voice experience preferred, not required) Violin Teacher Schedule Some summer availability (June-August) preferred More consistent availability during the school year (Sept-May) strongly preferred Peak hours: afternoons & evenings > Ideal for someone looking to build a steady, long-term teaching schedule Pay $20
  • 29 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit Responsibilities Teach private one-on-one music lessons (piano and/or violin) Adapt lessons for different ages and skill levels Create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment Communicate progress with parents when needed Maintain professionalism and consistency in schedule Qualifications Experience teaching piano and/or violin Voice experience a plus (for piano teachers) Reliable and consistent availability Strong communication skills with students and parents Enjoy working with kids and building relationships Organized and dependable Why Join APA Consistent flow of new student leads (no need to find your own students) Front desk handles scheduling, billing, and parent coordination Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow hours over time Optional recitals and performance opportunities for students
