We focus on confidence, progress, and a positive experience for every student, not high-pressure sales or churn. We handle the marketing, scheduling, payments, and parent communication so you can focus on what you do best: teaching. What Success Looks Like In This Role You run engaging, well-structured guitar lessons that get beginners playing real songs and feeling proud of themselves. You are reliable and consistent, so students and parents trust you and stay enrolled. You communicate clearly with families and our staff so everyone knows what to practice and what is coming next. You contribute to a supportive, encouraging studio culture for kids, parents, and fellow teachers. Key Responsibilities Teach private, in-person guitar lessons to kids (ages 6+) and adult beginners using our studio guidelines and your own teaching style. Create simple, clear lesson plans tied to each student's goals and 90 day roadmap. Track student progress and send brief updates through our online portal. Encourage student participation in recitals, workshops, and fun studio events. Arrive prepared and on time for every scheduled lesson. Schedule Weekly in-person lessons at our Milwaukee studio. Immediate need for Thursday late afternoon and evening starting in September. Approximately 4 hours per week to start , with the opportunity to add more days and students as your schedule and demand grow. This is intended as a long term, ongoing position , not a short term or seasonal role. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay $30 per hour of teaching time , with room to grow based on experience and performance. All students, billing, and scheduling provided by the studio. Referral and review bonuses. Paid training on our systems and access to professional development resources. Required Qualifications Strong guitar skills and at least 1 to 2 years of teaching or equivalent experience (private teaching, school, or group settings). Comfortable working with kids and adult beginners. Clear communicator who is patient, encouraging, and professional. Reliable transportation and a consistent schedule. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching a variety of styles (rock, pop, worship, etc.). Ability to adapt explanations to different ages and learning styles. Prior experience in a music school or lesson studio.
