Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Music Teacher (MT) will provide the Music Program for all school students at St. Joseph Academy. The MT will plan, prepare and deliver developmentally-appropriate music lessons to all grade levels K4-8, including preparing school students for the Holiday Concert and Spring Concert. The MT will explore the possibility of after school opportunities for music lessons.

Principal Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required Valid DPI license 1+ years developing and implementing specialized programming in an elementary school or middle school Bilingual speaker (Spanish) preferred Ability to observe and maintain classroom Exemplary interpersonal, planning and organization skills Proficient user of MS Office software and phone systems Ability to analyze an issue, identify options, implement solutions Ability to work cooperatively with people inside and outside of the school Ability to communicate and effectively interact with children, their family members, management, and staff members Ability to respond positively to work direction and guidance from others Ability to work independently, managing multiple demanding tasks under critical timeframes Current CPR, First Aid and Certification Equipment used: Office equipment: PC, printers, phone systems, fax machine, photocopier, scanner
