Position description The Program in Religious Studies is accepting applications for part time lecturer positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are seeking candidates with robust teaching experience who can contribute to our required undergraduate courses for the major. Beyond the ability to convey the required content, we are seeking teachers who will creatively help students engage with the study of religion as expressed in our programmatic aim. Religious Studies 5B:
World Religious II (Fall 2026- // Tues & Thurs 11:00am-12:20pm) An introduction to various religious traditions in selected areas of the world-including India and South Asia, East Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Religious Studies or related field, teaching experience at the college level and familiarity with or willingness to learn the CANVAS learning platform. Lecturers with prior UC experience are preferred. Fall 2026Service Dates:
