Job Description

Associate Rector
ATLANTA, GA
Posted May 7, 2026 Job Title Associate Rector Name of church or organization All Saints' Episcopal Church Job Location
ATLANTA, GA
Job Description All Saints', Atlanta, seeks an energetic and compassionate priest to share in the full life of our vibrant urban parish in the heart of Midtown, Atlanta. The clergy at All Saints' are called to support the ministry of the laity, inviting and inspiring all the baptized into the practice of ministry and challenging us to be a church that continuously turns outward to the world. This Associate Rector position is full-time, taking up a collegial role among a staff of 30 and a parish of a little over 2,600. The priest in this position will have oversight over worship, pastoral care, newcomers, evangelism, faith and justice partnerships, and parishioner engagement. The Associate Rector also leads worship, preaches, and takes part in the weekly rotation of pastoral care provision. The role asks for a lot of attention to detail and for a demonstrated ability to navigate the interpersonal nuances of a church that draws from across a diverse metro area. While we don't have set ideas about requisite years of experience as a priest, we are looking for someone with a developed sense of self, capable of self-differentiated leadership and empathy. We are looking for a person who loves people, and who wants their ministry to be characterized by lots of time in the company of others. A sense of humor is a must, as is the willingness to be honest about missing the mark now and again. Preferring faithfulness to perfectionism, the staff and parish want to welcome you as you are.
