Contact Information to Applicants Lindsey Lyles wardlyles@ku.edu Position Number 00066058 Required Qualifications For Instruction of Graduate-Level Courses PhD in Indigenous studies or a related field in the humanities, arts, education, public administration, social sciences or natural sciences, or a J.D. from an accredited law school OR Master's degree in aforementioned field and seven years of professional experience as a practitioner in the profession. Record of research, scholarship, or achievement in Indigenous studies or related field. Employee Class F-Faculty Advertised Salary Range Commensurate with experience & based on credit hours Preferred Qualifications PhD in a related discipline. More than five (5) years previous professional experience working in or with Indigenous/Native tribal agencies or U.S. government agencies or nonprofit organizations liaising with tribes. Prior experience in teaching at the graduate or undergraduate level. Relevant scholarly publications. Position Overview Indigenous Studies invites qualified scholars and professionals to make application for part- to full-time Instructor positions to teach one or more courses in the Indigenous Studies Program.
