Part Time Position Summary:
This is a part-time position teaching up to two sections of
BADM 200
Philosophy of Business for the Fall 2026 semester (August 19•December 8). The sections meet MWF from 1-1:50 and 2-2:50 PM on our main campus in Buies Creek. The role occupant will deliver/modify existing course content, learning objectives, pedagogical approaches, and academic assessment for the course. The incumbent will also hold office hours at least twice a week. He/she will serve as a collegial member of a community of scholars and learners, supporting and promoting the Business School's mission of providing students with a comprehensive professional business education that instills in them a commitment to service, lifelong learning, ethical behavior, and the free enterprise system. While in-person instruction is strongly preferred, blended, synchronous, or asynchronous online instruction will be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver student instruction, in person and/or online (70%). Assess and report student learning; complete student record keeping in a timely and accurate manner (20%). Respond to student questions and offer feedback during office hours (10%). Exercise independent judgment and maintain strict confidentiality Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, along with FERPA and other state and federal mandates. Other job-related duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Education/Experience:
Master's degree in business or related field required; terminal degree in business or related field preferred Prior teaching experience preferred Relevant industry experience desired Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with all groups through both oral and written channels. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with faculty colleagues, staff, students, and the public. Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people. Exercise independent judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations. Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a changing environment This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity, and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.
