Job Description

Gardner-Webb University Godbold College of Business invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Marketing faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. We value quality teaching, and we seek enthusiastic scholars who will enjoy working closely with undergraduate and graduate students in a Christian environment. Faculty members will be required to teach on-campus and in an on-line environment. Other responsibilities may include supervising undergraduate/graduate/doctoral accounting students with internships, advising, scheduling, and research.
The successful candidate will:
  • Teach in undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral marketing programs.
  • Demonstrate continuous professional and educational growth.
  • Provide marketing students with academic and professional advising.
  • Contribute to on-going accreditation processes.
  • Consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and integrity by supporting University initiatives and performing other duties as assigned by the Dean.
Eligibility requirements for consideration include:
  • Doctoral Degree in Marketing preferred (Ph.D. or DBA); ABD considered
  • Research and/or consulting in the marketing discipline
  • Teaching experience in this discipline is preferred
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Record of successful collaboration and teamwork
