  • FY 2027 Job Description CSN is looking to hire part-time instructors to teach Philosophy courses (mostly PHIL 102, Introduction to Critical Thinking).
Core Responsibilities Teach college-level courses in the field. Develop syllabi and course materials. Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development. Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County. Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Philosophy (Ph.D. preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (also from a regionally accredited college or university). Salary $925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
