Job Description

Position Title:
Part-time Faculty, Honors College ‌
Position Type:
Fixed Term (Fixed Term) ‌ About the
Role:
The Honors College at NKU is seeking part-time adjunct faculty. Faculty members will teach honors courses. These positions report to the Associate Dean of the Honors College. ‌
Duties:
Teach between three and nine hours (1-3 classes) of college writing and/or reading per semester. Provide support to students through office hours. Align assignments and curriculum with programmatic and university student learning outcomes.
Preferred Education and Skills:
Master's or PhD Experience teaching writing/reading and/or working with first-year college students Experience with interdisciplinary research and learning The pay for a three-credit varies slightly based on years of experience and education but is projected to be between $2700 and $3000 per three-credit course.
