Job Description

Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, management, and ministry oversight for the Kids Team at Christ Community Chapel (CCC). In addition, the selected candidate will foster and maintain an environment for kids that encourages participation, facilitates learning, and promotes spiritual growth. This is a full-time position and reports to the Executive Director of Ministry Leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of Kids Ministry, including curriculum, safety protocols, and execution of key ministry events. Create a Christ-centered environment that fosters spiritual growth, worship, and a love for God and others. Develop and implement a strategy that aligns with church vision and long-term organizational and goals. Ensure care and support for kids and their families, addressing spiritual, emotional, and relational needs. Leverage data and key ministry metrics to inform decision-making, evaluate ministry effectiveness, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Develop and implement a recruitment and retention strategy for volunteers. Identify and communicate ministry needs, including budget needs, to leadership.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Be in a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Bachelor's degree in theology, education, child development, or a related field (master's degree is preferred). Significant experience leading a team, preferably a ministry context. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions and support ministry growth. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans aligned with church vision and long-term goals. Ability to build and scale sustainable ministry systems, teams, and processes in a growing church environment. Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel.
