POSITION SPECIFICS

Penn State Hazleton is seeking qualified part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Arts and Humanities. These courses are classified as GA and GH general education courses in the University Bulletin . A wide variety of courses may be offered, depending on the disciplinary strength of applicants. Course will be taught in person on the Penn State Hazleton campus. Requirements and Qualifications A minimum of a Master's degree in the relevant discipline (or closely related field) is required Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the college level Teaching assignments may include day or evening times and various methods of course delivery. Most teaching assignments will be in-person, with occasional opportunities for hybrid or online teaching. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until positions are filled. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
