Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Elementary Coordinator/Director is a leader of leaders who helps carry out the vision of Ridge Kids by equipping volunteers and partnering with parents to disciple the next generation of children to know, grow, and serve Jesus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, train, develop volunteers and build healthy teams Coordinate and oversee all aspects of elementary programming on Sundays Review and edit curriculum used to teach on Sunday Maintain consistent communication with parents, volunteers, and staff Help implement ministry policies, procedures, and safety standards Collaborate with the Ridge Kids team in planning and executing various ministry environments, events, retreats, and outreach opportunities Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor
KEY COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Mature, growing disciple of Jesus Lives out the Core Values of ARBC and agrees with our Doctrinal Statement Demonstrates a desire for connecting elementary-aged children with Jesus Strong interpersonal and communication skills on Sunday mornings and throughout the week Capable team leader and multiplier of people Demonstrates initiative, organization, teachability, humility, and follow-through Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced ministry environment Works well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Passionate about partnering with parents and families Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three years of ministry, education or related leadership experience preferred
