Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Metcalf Elementary is seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Physical Education Teacher to work with students in grades K-4. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and fitness, enjoys working with children, and is committed to building positive relationships that encourage students to develop lifelong healthy habits.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified teacher preferred Individuals currently working toward a teaching degree encouraged to apply Experience coaching or teaching youth athletics preferred Knowledge of elementary physical education, health, and fitness concepts

Responsibilities Include:

Planning and implementing engaging lessons aligned to Arizona state standards Creating a positive, safe, and motivating learning environment Building strong relationships with students and staff Teaching age-appropriate physical education and health skills to K-4 students Encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles Recording and maintaining student grades and participation records Collaborating with school staff and administration as needed The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, positivity, and a passion for helping students stay active, healthy, and confident.
