Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Instructor to inspire and motivate students of all ages through martial arts training. In this role, you will lead engaging classes that focus on techniques, discipline, and fitness, fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and confidence. The ideal candidate is passionate about martial arts, experienced in coaching diverse groups, and committed to promoting safety and skill development. Duties Lead structured MMA training sessions, demonstrating techniques and ensuring proper form and safety protocols. Develop customized training plans tailored to individual skill levels and goals. Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance skills. Manage behavior and maintain discipline during classes to ensure a respectful learning environment. Communicate effectively with students and parents or guardians about progress, schedules, and safety concerns. Experience Prior experience working with children or youth in sports or physical education settings. Strong background in sports coaching, team leadership, or sports-specific training instruction. Familiarity with teaching physical education or working within health clubs or gyms is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of students. Experience managing behavior in group settings and creating engaging lesson plans that promote skill development and fun.
Pay:
$17.50 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 25.0 per week
