St. Linus School is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education teacher who will inspire students to develop life long habits of fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy living. Plan and teach engaging physical education classes for students K-8. Create a safe, positive learning environment. Organize and supervise physical activities, games, and fitness assessments. Manage student behavior using positive and consistent expectations. The PE position can also include, but not required, a DayCare position for grades K-8. Person must create a safe and nurturing environment. Position may be DayCare only. Experience working with children Responsible and punctual Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements PE:
Bachelor's Degree in progress okay.
DayCare:
High School Degree Required Schedule PE:
8 hours a week (days/times flexible)
DayCare:
Monday-Thursday 2:30-6:00, Fridays 11:30-6:00 Please submit Cover Letter, Resume, Reference letter at: Email or deliver to school office. Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
