Class Teacher, 3rd-4th grades Rise Inspired Waldorf School Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica Rise is an inspired Waldorf school, started 5 years ago in the beautiful mountain range of Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica, serving 30 families from around the world. As we grow organically we are preparing our school to grow up to 12th grade, and we are seeking a Waldorf trained class teacher with experience. Our school community is situated at an elevation which brings a temperate climate of around 72F (22C) year-round . With two distinct seasonal changes we have the best of both worlds. And if you are missing the beach, it's only one hour away. Our school community is situated on 800 acres of forests, open landscapes, and a river which runs through it. This natural environment is an important part of our daily school life, and we value teachers who feel comfortable and inspired spending time outdoors with children, nurturing their relationship with nature through exploration, movement, and learning beyond the classroom. For your convenience, the city of San Isidro , the second biggest city in Costa Rica, is only 20 minutes away with all modern services. Seeking Grades, trained Waldorf Class Teacher We are seeking a grades-trained Waldorf teacher who brings both experience and heart, and who enjoys being part of a supportive, kind, and engaged school community in Costa Rica. This position is ideal for an experienced teacher who would love to join a growing school community in the beautiful landscape of Costa Rica.
