Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher to inspire students to develop a lifelong love for health, fitness, and active living. In this role, you will create engaging physical activity programs, foster teamwork and sportsmanship, and promote overall well-being among students of various ages. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive physical education curricula that align with educational standards and promote physical literacy. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students. Assess student progress regularly through observations, standardized testing, and performance evaluations; adapt lessons accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school events, and extracurricular activities to encourage active participation. Incorporate learning technology and LMS (Learning Management Systems) to enhance lesson delivery and track student achievements. Support students with special needs or those with autism by applying appropriate behavior management strategies and accommodations. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development for physical education, health education, and childhood development principles. Proven classroom management skills that foster discipline while encouraging creativity and enthusiasm for physical activity. Experience working with children across different age groups in both classroom settings and extracurricular programs. Excellent communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to physical fitness assessments. Ability to develop lesson plans that integrate literacy education, math concepts, and learning technology tools. Experience in private school environments or early childhood education settings is a plus; familiarity with Montessori or special education approaches is advantageous.
