Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and student‑centered Part‑Time Physical Education (PE) Teacher to lead engaging PE classes for elementary students. The ideal candidate will promote fitness, teamwork, character development, and healthy habits while maintaining strong classroom management and positive relationships with students. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate PE lessons Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness routines, and cooperative games Maintain a safe, structured, and joyful learning environment Support schoolwide culture expectations and transitions Communicate effectively with staff and leadership Assist with recess supervision or movement breaks as needed Model professionalism, positivity, and consistency Qualifications Experience working with children (school, camp, coaching, or youth programs) Strong classroom management and relationship‑building skills Ability to design engaging, active lessons PE certification preferred but not required Alignment with Peace Prep's mission and values Schedule & Compensation 1-2 days per week Approximately 3-6 hours weekly $20-$25 per hour , based on experience and certification How to
