Job Description

Performance Responsibilities:
Demonstrate ability to enhance academic performance and support for implementation of the school district's student achievement goals Demonstrate competence in content knowledge appropriate to the teaching position Demonstrate competence in planning and preparing for instruction Use strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of students Use a variety of methods to monitor student learning Demonstrate competence in classroom management Engage in professional growth Fulfill professional responsibilities established by the school district Attend staffing meetings as assigned by Building Principal Work with Curriculum and Development at building level in all areas assigned Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and community partners Supervise student activities including but not limited to recess, lunch, passing in halls, as assigned by Building Principal Maintain an adequate understanding of technologies utilized in classroom and related areas Perform all other duties and assume all other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Building Principal/District Administration
