We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Junior High Science/PE Teacher OR Junior High English/Literature/Arts Teacher to inspire curiosity and foster a love for science and English among middle school students. We Currently have a Junior High Science Teacher who is also qualified to teach Literature so this role search is dynamic based on qualifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop engaging lesson plans, utilize innovative learning technologies, and create a stimulating classroom environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in scientific disciplines OR English and Literature, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to nurturing student growth through effective instruction and mentorship. Design and deliver comprehensive science or English/Literature lessons aligned with curriculum standards, covering topics such as biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences OR Grammar and punctuation, Reading and Writing Essays. Develop innovative instructional materials and activities that incorporate modern learning technology to enhance student engagement Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, projects, and standardized assessments, providing constructive feedback to support learning Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and school initiatives Mentor students individually or in small groups to support diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral reports in accordance with school policies Strong knowledge of scientific disciplines Proven experience in lesson planning and instructional design tailored to middle school learners Classroom management skills that foster respectful behavior and active participation Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as dissection, microbiology experiments, molecular biology procedures, and research laboratory experience Ability to integrate learning technology tools effectively into daily instruction Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administration Experience with standardized testing preparation and educational research methodologies Knowledge of special education practices and behavior management strategies for diverse learners
