The selected candidate will share the responsibilities of teaching the Physical Exam Lab course to graduate students. This course is offered in person, on the Boston campus, in the fall and spring semester. Designated subject matter will include teaching hands-on physical exam skills. Delivers laboratory instruction in-person, in the Physical Exam Lab for the School of Physician Assistant Studies. Demonstrate the real-world applications of concepts covered Instruction will align with course goals and learning objectives Proctor and grade physical exam skills Provide student mentoring, and remediation Assist in lab set-up Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Required:
Master's Degree or higher in related field Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Physician Assistant or equivalent Commitment to graduate and professional skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals)
Preferred:
Prior teaching experience at the college/university level in medical education
