We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part-Time Health and Physical Education Teacher to inspire students to embrace active, healthy lifestyles while fostering their physical, social, and emotional development. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging health and physical education lessons aligned with curriculum standards and educational regulations. Incorporate learning technology and educational tools to enhance student participation and understanding of fitness, nutrition, and health topics. Adapt instruction to accommodate various learning styles, special education needs, and diverse cultural backgrounds. Manage classroom responsibilities effectively, including behavior management, lesson planning, and assessment of student progress. Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth through sports coaching experience. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and curriculum implementation. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional modifications, and school-wide wellness initiatives. Experience Proven teaching experience is a plus with PreK through middle schoolsettings, preferably within private or Montessori schools. Demonstrated expertise in physical education instruction combined with knowledge of childhood development principles. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and those with special education needs. Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and instructional modifications for varied learning styles. Familiarity with standardized testing protocols related to health education or physical fitness assessments. Background in sports coaching or athletic training enhances the ability to motivate students through extracurricular activities.
