Job Description

We have a rich history, with its establishment 200 years ago by St. Rose Phillppine Duchesne. A coalition of schools serving over 50,000 students (PreK-12) within an 11-county area. Job Summary The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate physical education program that promotes physical fitness, healthy habits, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while supporting the school's mission and Catholic values.

Job Responsibilities Lesson Planning & Instruction:
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that incorporate Catholic teachings and values.Classroom Environment:
Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.Student Assessment & Support:
Regularly assess and monitor student progress, offering timely feedback and providing necessary academic support.Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure student success and promote a team-oriented approach.Faith Integration:
Participate in school-wide activities, including faith-based events and initiatives, while modeling Catholic teachings in all daily interactions.Professional Development:
Participate in ongoing professional growth opportunities and school community engagement activitiesJob Requirements Experience:
Previous teaching experience in elementary or middle school settings preferred.Faith Commitment:
Strong understanding of Catholic teachings with a commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum.Skills:
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.Personal Attributes:
