Physical Education Teacher for Elementary & Middle School

Immanuel Academy is a private, K-12 Christian school accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education teacher who demonstrates a strong Christian faith, a genuine love for children, and a commitment to fostering students' physical development in a Christ-centered learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Bachelor's degree or higher (required). Prior experience as a physical education teacher, preferred. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and engage in the full life of the school.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a spiritual leader and role model for students, reflecting Christian ethics and integrity in all areas of life and teaching. Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education lessons Promote physical fitness, motor skill development, and healthy lifestyle choices Teach teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and perseverance from a biblical perspective Ensure a safe and structured environment during all physical activities Organize and supervise sports activities, games, and school athletic events Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Maintain equipment and oversee gym/outdoor facilities Collaborate with staff and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and Christ-centered professional community.
