Nov 16, 2026 Job Description The Craftsbury Town School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative Physical Education teacher for a portion of the 2026-2027 school year. The full-time equivalency (FTE) of the position is 0.80. The anticipated term dates start in November, with a duration of four or more months. Some essential job duties are listed below.- Prepare for assigned classes using appropriate curriculum standards, effective strategies, resources, and data to meet the needs of all students; show written evidence of preparation and implementation, e.g., lesson plans, assessments.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and teaching strategies, including current technology and whole-group/small-group learning, to meet different aptitudes and interests of students.
- Provide an instructional space that is attractive, healthful, safe, and conducive to learning, with materials that are in good condition and accessible to students.
- Correlate individual instructional objectives with the philosophy, goals, and objectives stated for the district.
- Assess the accomplishments of students regularly, developing strategies and accommodations necessary for student success and providing regular student feedback.
- Develop and enforce a behavioral environment that is appropriate to classroom activity, conducive to learning, and consistent with established administrative policies The position comes with prorated benefits and is a part of the Collective Bargaining Unit for Teachers.
